Wine Tasting on the Amalfi Coast in the Cellar of Hotel Margherita

One Hour Tasting Among the Finest Wines of the Amalfi Coast

Wine Tasting in the Cellar of Hotel Margherita: One Hour Among the Finest Wines of the Amalfi Coast

The Wine Tasting on the Amalfi Coast in the Cellar of Hotel Margherita is an experience that goes far beyond the simple pleasure of taste. It tells the story of a place, carry the perfume of history and nature, and linger in the memory long after the glass has been set down. The Wine Tasting in the private cellar of Hotel Margherita in Praiano is exactly that: a sensory journey through the finest wines of the Amalfi Coast, guided with passion and expertise by our Maître Umberto.

One hour of pure immersion in local wine culture, paired with authentic flavours of the territory. An experience thoughtfully curated to be enjoyed as a moment of discovery, relaxation, and conviviality.

The Cellar: The Hidden Heart of Ristorante M'Ama!
Our wine cellar is more than a place to store bottles. It is one of our most precious treasures, carefully tended year after year with the same dedication and love we pour into every dish at Ristorante M'Ama!. Located in the garden of our rooftop terrace — a unique space suspended between the scent of the sea and the green of the Mediterranean scrubland — the cellar houses some of the finest vertical collections dedicated to local producers.

Inside, you will find the crown jewel of Campanian wine: the extraordinary vertical of Fiorduva by Marisa Cuomo, spanning vintages from 2002 to 2022, a collection rarely found anywhere else. Alongside it sit the vertical of Borgo di Gete, produced on the slopes of the Monti Lattari using the ancient Tintore grape variety, and that of Montevetrano, often called the 'Sassicaia of Southern Italy'.

A vinous heritage that speaks of this land's deep roots — and of the special bond that connects us to its producers.

The Experience: What Awaits You
The Wine Tasting takes place in the private hotel cellar between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM, in one of two available time slots (4:00–5:00 PM or 5:00–6:00 PM). During one guided hour, Maître Umberto will lead you through a tasting of five selected DOC wines, among the finest labels of the Amalfi Coast:

•       Costa d'Amalfi DOC Furore Fiorduva — Marisa Cuomo Wineries (white)

•       Costa d'Amalfi DOC Tramonti È'Iss — San Francesco Estate (red)

•       Costa d'Amalfi DOC Furore Ravello Riserva — Marisa Cuomo Wineries (red)

Each glass is complemented by carefully selected gastronomic pairings, chosen to enhance the aromas and character of every wine:
